V&A Digital Design Weekend
This weekend (22-23 September) the V&A museum are running a Digital Design Weekend, celebrating digital art and design with a number of demonstrations and family activities.
The weekend coincides with the London Design Festival and the centenary of Alan Turing. Amongst the exhibits is Paul the Robot – who will sketch your portrait – that was also part of the Intuition and Ingenuity show, which celebrated the life and work of Alan Turing. There will also be other robotics, sound installations, games and more over the weekend.
The V&A have hosted a number of other digital art and design events including decode in 2010 and the Power of Making in 2011. This will undoubtedly be another great event, showcasing digital art and design. This special event is free and you can find further details on the V&A museum’s site.
