Another interesting workshop at the V&A. This time it’s a six week course in various techniques to give you a good introduction to electronics and programming, so you can start creating your own interactive digital art or anything else that takes your fancy.

This weekend (22-23 September) the V&A museum are running a Digital Design Weekend, celebrating digital art and design with a number of demonstrations and family activities.

Last Saturday was the second Brighton Mini Maker Faire, where over 7000 people came to meet the makers, try making something themselves and play with all the gadgets on display.

At last! Finally we’ve got a website up and running so we can keep everyone up to date with our project to open a FabLab in Brighton – sorry it took so long. A few people have been in touch worried that our lack of contact (and information online) might have meant that the project had died, but I’m happy to report that it’s still going strong and we’ve got a couple of bits of news to share with you all.
